What We Believe

That the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is final authority in all matters of doctrine and life.
There is only One God manifesting in Three Persons – Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin birth, that He died on the cross and rose again on the third day.
That salvation is by grace alone through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
In baptism by immersion in water in the name of Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
In the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.
In the gifts and operations of the Holy Spirit.
That healing is the part of atonement.
That Church is the Body of Christ – The Expression of His Spirit and love on the earth.
Every person is very valuable to God and that God is interested in every one.

About our pastors

Pastors Gabriel and Ugochi Adams have the privilege of pastoring Majesty House Southampton. They are both medical doctors with several decades of practice in both Nigeria and England and have four wonderful grown-up children and a granddaughter.

They have also been involved in ministry for nearly 40 years since they first received God’s calling in 1980 to heal His people and teach them to follow His ways. They started ministry in Poland, the country where they met, and qualified as doctors. Pastor Gabriel also made the decision to give his life to Christ in Poland, having arrived there as a Muslim.

They continued their ministry in Nigeria where they led a Christian hospital for several years, bringing medical care and a belief in the healing power of God to the local communities, and working in conjunction with local churches, until God called them to move to the UK in 1992. They would gain further qualifications and serve as doctors for several decades, while also pastoring churches.

They co-founded Anointed Word church in Leeds in 1994. They combined ministry with working as hospital doctors until the Lord called them to move down south. Hence the move to Southampton where they worked as general practitioners as GP principals. Pastors Gabriel and Ugochi are now full-time pastors of Majesty House. They are passionate about empowering people and raising leaders. They operated the “Church House” as it was affectionately known from 2008 – 2021, providing accommodation and help for homeless people in Southampton. As well as providing a safe environment to overcome addictions, skills training, and food ministry to help struggling families.

In 2012, they started the School of Christian Development and Success, with a vision to help develop and bring Christians to maturity and success through life-application teaching based on sound Biblical principles of growth and character development.

In 2020, online ministry was born for Majesty house as the Pandemic happened worldwide. In 2022, a vision of an international church was rekindled. In August 2023, we started offering translation to all major languages available in the church during our in-person services. We look to the future with excitement and hope for the erupting volcano of revival God has promised.

Both Pastors have authored books to help Christians grow in their faith and character. Pastor Gabriel’s book “Life in Motion” and “Managing your life” and Pastor Ugochi’s book “In Pursuit of a Dream” are available in both English and Polish and can be purchased on Amazon.

Community projects

During the Pandemic, we served those in need in our community with food parcels for needy families. From our centre in Lordshill, we distributed over 5,000 food parcels to those in our community that needed it. We have continued to do this during the cost-of-living crisis to support families in our community in need.
We teach useful work skills to help the unemployed get back into work
We provide practical experience in volunteer programmes at church.
We offer spiritual support for vulnerable individuals who want to give up addictions or other lifestyle issues.
Our Sunday services are open to all.
Special thanks to:
Pret a Manger who provide us with their end of the day sandwiches for distribution,
Fareshare, Nandos, KFC and Tesco who we partner with for our food ministry
